Vision of Youth Power: From Bonaparte to the Modern Age

This is an aphorism easily provable by the very process of Providence itself: the architecture of any grand Commonwealth, founded upon wisdom and ripened by the passage of time, must ever and again undergo renovation by the vigorous and hence unpent energies of the rising generation. “When the body politic shall show signs of approaches to rigidity,” this youthfulness and creativity and steadfast resolve of the young subjects must make their appearance. This fervour, this creativity, and this constant resolve of the youth subjects before us are not to be considered transitory sentiments; and indeed, this very momentum itself must and will eradicate the deeply-rooted problems which beset the global body—whether the apprehensions of the public treasury itself, the inequalities of the position held within the larger society, or indeed the very constancy of the politics under which we live. It is the belief of the Nexus Public Policy Institute itself that this power for transformation must and will come; and the only manner by which this power will ever come to pass and take hold will ever and again lie in their magnification: for it is only by the penning of their counsel and the drafting of their formulations that the essential policies underpinning the future can ever come to pass. Let the mind survey the remarkable example provided by General Bonaparte himself: who not only succeeded within the very framework of the established military structure itself at the tender age of his years but completely and utterly rearranged the very art and science of warfare itself and the very foundations of the law itself—and provided indubitable proof themselves that the very greatest and best changes ever installed will ever and again emerge out of the very unconstrained mind itself and the very unfettered intellect. In this manner—through the committed and righteous investment on our part within the very education, tutelage, and empowerment of the rising generation themselves—we will ever and again succeed to unlock their inherent brilliance for the betterment of all. It is by no means the case that the power of the youth will ever and again make itself manifest upon the very streets themselves; and indeed, by their very establishment and advocacy, by their own establishment of constructive reform and by their very powers to inspire subsequent generations themselves, the youth stand ever and again and ever and shall ever and again provide an indispensable reminder and an indispensable catalyst to the very potential inherent within each succeeding age itself. Let us comport ourselves thereto and advocate for their leadership and their activism themselves; and by their empowerment itself, we will empower the very world itself towards an ever greater measure of justice and towards an ever greater measure of felicity itself.
